Later in the 911 call, a male caller tells the dispatcher, "We heard the sirens".
At one point, the caller says "no sirens, please", but the operator makes it clear that turning them off isn't an option, saying, "This is definitely a medical emergency for her".
However the emergency dispatcher insists he has no control over them and that the sirens are needed.
