At the end of that movie, baddie Thanos snapped his fingers and destroyed half of all life in the universe.
We already knew that the action in Spider-Man 2 (Far From Home) will take place after Avengers 4, but we had no idea it would be just minutes after the action concludes in the Infinity War sequel. That includes major heroes such as Spider-Man and Black Panther (who we know will be back). As is the Marvel way, it does indeed, with a total of two after-credits scenes to check out after the movie "ends" (I guess we should lean into calling them stingers this time around, right?).
Join host and the master of Quantum entanglement, Jessica Chobot, as she offers a few theories about how Ant-Man and the Wasp's penultimate scene sets up Avengers 4.
Iran Threatens to Shut Down Key Oil Shipping Route
It has been putting pressure on its allies ever since, seeking in particular to make them reduce oil imports from Iran. Speaking earlier in the day, France's foreign minister said that world powers would struggle to keep to that deadline.
Quarter and semi finals, and results so far
There are clear frontrunners but as I said before, this World Cup continues to surprise everyone who is watching it. Both sides can score, but the question is whether Belgium can finally become a big team by defeating Brazil .
Drones buzzed French prison months before spectacular escape
As soon as the gangster flew out of jail, a massive search was launched by the French National Police across greater Paris. Faid, 46, has been serving a 25-year sentence for a failed robbery during which a police officer was killed.
Naturally, this is a pretty major revelation - one that has huge repercussions for Avengers 4 and beyond - so you would think that Marvel wouldn't want to risk the chance that moviegoers might leave before seeing that devastating kicker and then show up to Avengers 4 expecting to see Hope playing a major role alongside Scott. But with Scott presumably trapped inside the Quantum Realm, it remains to be seen how he will escape. In the first post-credits scene, the trio sends Scott into the Quantum Realm in order to recover some data. Specifically, the Battle of NY from 2012's original Avengers film has been mentioned as a set piece for Avengers 4. Scott was warned to avoid any time vortexes in the Quantum Realm, and that seems like a very specific piece of information to drop on the audience. It may even be out of Thanos' reach, or at least his awareness.
This could also link Ant-Man and the Wasp to the upcoming Captain Marvel, which takes place in the 1990s as a psuedo-prequel to the existing MCU. Mar-vell has a history with Thanos in the comics, so his connection to Carol Danvers should prove important.
While any temporal journeying could be the result of the Time Stone now in possession of Thanos, it could also come from Ant-Man's inter-dimensional travels in the Quantum Realm that leads into a time vortex. But we're going to have to wait until May 2019 to get definitive answers. Evangeline Lilly has even noted that the new territory "does open a whole entire new multi-verse to enter into and play around in". But the fact that such an obscure character can carry a franchise is proof that Marvel can ensnare viewers with even its most peripheral characters.
