Better call mom. That's just how life works, and the same goes for when you're a Duchess of Sussex who married Prince Harry, and now your family is constantly talking to the press about private matters.
Following Thomas Markle Sr's last interview - in which he likened the royal family to a "cult" and Scientologists - Meghan's half brother, Thomas Markle Jr, has spoken to the media about Meghan's strained relationship with her father - something Kensington Palace must be thrilled about.
Thomas Jr. continued, "Since Hollywood and being on that show-being a celebrity has changed her".
"It has just become so embarrassing for Meghan", an apparent friend of the Duchess told the Daily Mail. "But if she wasn't with Prince Harry right now - even if she was still on "Suits" right now - she would have stopped what she was doing to go and visit him and make sure he's ok". Since then, he has voiced criticism about the royal family and issued several public pleas for his daughter to speak with him. Doria, who's thought to be the one link still standing between Meghan, her father and her half-siblings, is reportedly doing her best behind the scenes to try and mend the damage that's already been done. But when she couldn't give him the time he needed or wanted to spend with her, he got upset about that. If she wants to make amends, by all means, she can do that.

And he sought to discredit Cohen - contrasting his actions with those of Manafort, whom he called "such a courageous man". Cohen's own lawyer, in a string of interviews early Wednesday, took aim at the president, dubbing him a "criminal".
During her maternity leave, Kate has been spotted out on several occasions during family events, including Trooping the Colour in June and at Louis' christening last month, where the Cambridge family stepped out for the first time as a family of five.
"They've dealt with this kind of stuff for a long time and why they did it this way, that's the big question. Why? They could have looked after my dad and he would have been happy", Thomas Jr. explained.
If it were him, Ken says, he'd have insisted that Buckingham Palace send someone to help guide Thomas through the stormy waters of the intense media scrutiny he faced in the run-up to the May wedding, Express reports.
