James' I PROMISE School, where "Nothing is given".
On Friday night, as James was interviewed by CNN's Don Lemon-another occasional target of Trump's-the president felt compelled to tweet something nasty. Trump tweeted his LeBron venom a day before making a trip to, you guessed it, Ohio.
On Monday, James sat down for an interview to promote a new public school that his charitable foundation helped build.
"Sports has never been something that divides people", Mr. James said.
Trump is under fire for insulting LeBron's intelligence, just days after James opened a school for underprivileged children.
On Friday, Trump tweeted about James and Lemon, who has also been critical of him in the past.
Of course, the president also got a final dig in at James, saying "I like Mike", a reference to all-time great Chicago Bulls guard Michael Jordan. Lemon tweeted. "A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?"

Apple becomes 1st private company worth $1 trillion
That price translates to a $1 trillion market cap, based on the current estimated number of outstanding shares. This makes Apple worth more than the economies of countries such as Saudi Arabia, Switzerland and Taiwan.
"Trump has only called Don Lemon & Lebron James "dumb" and he repeatedly refers to Maxine Waters as 'low IQ",' one man wrote.
In an interview with CNN, James said he thought the president had used sports to "divide" the United States, adding it was something he "can't relate to".
"Who's the real dummy?"
But Trump's election has charged James's outlook, along with other athletes and coaches. Last September, the National Basketball Association star called Trump a "bum" after he rescinded an invitation to the Golden State Warriors to celebrate their 2017 National Basketball Association championship at the White House. But nobody cared about Trump weighing in on that debate.
The President of the United States of America is a curious user of Twitter at the best of times, but it seems as though he has done a fine job of infuriating the world with his latest ramblings.
He went on to say, "Going to the White House was a great honor until you showed up!"
These all speak louder than a President's Tweet. "I repeat this is the PRESIDENT??!?" Yes we know that but Donald Trump just made it fashionable again!
