With exactly a week left until Apple unveils its 2018 iPhones, we learned on Wednesday that the iPhone X Plus version that's finally coming this year will be called iPhone XS Max. It has been timed early at 10 am PDT in the Steve Jobs Theater in the Apple Campus in Cupertino, California.
What is the iPhone XS?
They will be the new iPhone, whose name is still unknown. There's a red model, which could be Product (RED), as Apple has previously used its red handsets to raise money to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. We believe that Apple will be able to pull off this pricing and still manage to attract buyers of lower- and mid-range iPhones, as the visual appearance of the device plays a big role in a consumer's purchase decision. Today, we have two fresh "leaks" to report on including rumored pricing and the name for the largest iPhone to ever be released.
One of the iPhones will be an immediate successor of the iPhone X with a 5.8-inch screen, the second will be bigger with a 6.5-inch screen and the third will be a cheaper, 6.1-inch iPhone. The iPhone 9 or the 6.1-inch LCD variant will continue with the single rear camera at the back, though this too will have Face ID on the front and a True Depth camera.
Trump fires back at Apple: Make your products in US
Trump said that if Apple wants to avoid tariffs on its products, it should make those devices in the US rather than China. Those steps include slapping tariffs on $60 billion of United States imports, Gao said.
Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma to retire on Monday
The way he chose to make the announcement was unusual. "This is something I think I can do much better than being CEO of Alibaba". Jack Ma will step down from his role on Monday - his 54th birthday - and plans to devote his time to philanthropy and education.
South Korean envoys in meeting with Kim Jong Un
Kim said that declaring an end to the war is, above all, the first process in building trust between Washington and Pyongyang.
The more affordable 6.1-inch iPhone expected to launch this year won't be as exciting as its pricier siblings, but it seems Apple has some tricks up its sleeve to make it more appealing.
The thinking is that the iPhone XS Max won't have vastly different specs than the iPhone XS, which would be an interesting change from the Plus smartphones. Apple first introduced a device sans a home button a year ago with the iPhone X, and if rumors are to be believed, the company is ready to go all-in with FaceID for all three new phones. There will be three iPhones Apple confirmed for 2019 dubbed as iPhone 9 (to be confirmed), iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. The leaked images have revealed that there will be a Gold color edition this time, unlike iPhone X. This only means that it will not support wireless charging. Image courtesy of Bloomberg.
Apple is going to uncover the intensely hyped trio of iPhones at its event on September 12. These prices are for the base variant with 64GB storage, and with import duties and other taxes, price in India could shoot further. It'll outsize the iPhone XS, which is said to maintain a familiar 5.8-inch screen.
