An 18-year-old Florida man is accused of raping a teen girl while playing a video game, causing audio of the assault to be streamed online, police say.

A Florida gamer allegedly took a break from playing Grand Theft Auto to rape a teenager, according to police.

The other gamer said he heard the victim moaning for help, according to ABC Action News. The other player told police that Fabian left his microphone on and he overheard the entire attack, with the distressed girl yelling "No". Fabian was playing online, and another gamer overheard the assault through the microphone, which had been left on, deputies said. The witness told officials that he could hear the girl crying and saying "no".

The alleged victim told police she was held down and raped by Mr Fabian.

Fabian was arrested by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office on November 21 and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a victim ages 12 to 16 after a lengthy investigation.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Daniel Enrique Fabian, was arrested last week in Pasco County, WFLA 8 reports. After the incident the girl completed a sexual assault victim examination, which supported her allegation. He then began touching her and she stopped him, but he continued, the girl told police. He is being held without bail and has not yet entered a plea.

The arrest occurred after a five-month wait for the results of a DNA test, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Fabian was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery of a person between the ages of 12 and 15 in connection with that incident.
