Cape Town - A teaser trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones has been released. In the season finale a year ago, the Night King rode on the undead dragon Viserion as he broke down a section of the wall with the White Walker army marching down south. A figure of a direwolf is covered in ice (probably representing House Stark), then a miniature dragon is frozen (a reference to House Targaryen or possibly zombie dragon Viserion).
The fire and ice of the trailer are a nod to the George RR Martin book series the show is based on, A Song Of Fire And Ice. In time, the ice meets the fire, in what will be the fight till the finish. There is no film or television show for which I am more excited for than Game of Thrones Season 8, no, not even Star Wars: Episode IX. Disappointingly, the video doesn't actually contain any new footage.

In this teaser, it is quite interesting to see a dragon freeze over as they are usually the representation of fire.
