Irving expected to be day-to-day with knee injury

Kyrie Irving left Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after tweaking his knee late in the second quarter.

Over the last three seasons, Philly is 38-19 ATS (66.7%) at home against over-.500 teams - the most-profitable team in the National Basketball Association in that spot (ahead of the Celtics, who rank second).

The Celtics later announced that Irving suffered a sprained right knee and would be out the rest of the game.

But Stevens said the injury wasn't to blame for his team's collapse.

The Celtics back-to-back blown 20-point leads certainly calls for some self-reflection upon the team as they fall to the No. 5 seed in the East at 35-21, 6.5 games back from first place where most people expected them to be at this point in the season. "Those things happen and we all have to pick up for that".

He vowed to clear his name against what he described as a "vicious and coordinated smear campaign" being orchestrated against him. Fairfax has previously denied Tyson's allegation. "It has really raised the level of awareness for racial issues in Virginia".

"To be in this position and have a chance to compete for something like that, it means a lot to me", Morris said. It's just not fun, it's not fun.

Morris' declaration following the Celtics' defeat at the hands of the Clippers Saturday night helped punctuate what appears to be a dysfunctional C's roster. Even though we're winning, it's still not fun. To see their former point guard in Rajon Rondo hit a game-winner at the TD Garden while wearing a Lakers uniform is something that had to make the city of Boston sick to their stomach. "And when I look at us, I just see a bunch of individuals". "Win, lose, or draw - you're going to lose games - but if we have no attitude, we have no toughness, we're not having fun.it's going to be a long season". That has to be the first goal. If you want to take me out the lineup and get some juice in it, I'm with it.

Morris hinted at trade deadline drama that may have built up before last Thursday.

"I watch all these other teams around the league and guys are up on the bench. It's unacceptable what we did tonight for a team of our caliber".
