On Tuesday morning, the US attorney's office for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) unsealed nearly a thousand pages of documents related to search warrants for former Trump attorney and fixer Michael Cohen.
Pauley sentenced Cohen to prison in December for crimes including lying to Congress and paying two women to stay silent about affairs they claimed to have had with Trump.
The judge approved the new search warrant later that day, giving investigators access to additional information from Google, including Cohen's emails, attachments, address book and files stored on Google Drive.
Some of the payments he received were from companies with strong foreign ties, including a Korean aerospace company, a bank in Kazakhstan and an investment firm affiliated with a Russian billionaire.
Cohen has since pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations, among other crimes.
The massive trove of files, pertaining to the government's search warrants, showed that federal investigators obtained a warrant for emails from Cohen's Gmail account "on or around July 18, 2017".
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents said they used a device to track down Cohen's location in April 2018. Cohen has implicated the president in these crimes.
Cohen's lawyer Lanny Davis said Tuesday's release "only furthers his interest in continuing to co-operate and providing information and the truth about Donald Trump and the Trump Organisation to law enforcement and Congress".

Mike Trout Reportedly Set To Sign $430 Million Contract With Angels
As Trout's contract was due to expire after the upcoming season, the Los Angeles club made him an offer too good to turn down. The reported agreement comes just weeks after the Philadelphia Phillies signed Bryce Harper to a 13-year, $330 million deal.
A few months after the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided his home and offices in April of previous year, Cohen pleaded guilty to a series of charges, including tax and bank fraud, giving false testimony to Congress, and campaign finance violations on behalf of "Client 1".
The payments from the Vekselberg firm, who is close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, began just days after Trump's inauguration in January 2017 and eventually totaled almost $600,000.
The judge said prosecutors can disclose portions of materials related to Cohen's tax evasion and false statements to financial institutions charges, along with Cohen's conduct that did not result in criminal charges.
Cohen was ultimately not charged with failing to register as a foreign agent. Moscow has denied meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
The court documents were released by a federal judge in NY, where Cohen pleaded guilty past year to campaign finance and personal financial crimes.
The materials related to the campaign finance contribution scheme are entirely redacted in the documents, and there does not appear to be extensive justification that prosecutors have made visible to the public that describes their reasoning for looking at Cohen's phone and email communications.
Since pleading guilty, he has publicly blamed Trump for his downfall, calling his former boss a con man, a racist, and a cheat.
In dramatic public testimony to a congressional committee last month, Cohen declared, "I am no longer your fixer, Mr. Trump".
